Image Metadata Viewer

Drop in an image to see its dimensions, format, and file size at a glance, along with any camera, capture, or GPS metadata the file happens to carry. It is a broader companion to the EXIF viewer — useful when you just want to confirm what a file actually is before uploading it somewhere else.

Drag an image or click to upload

Frequently asked questions

Why are some fields empty?
Not every image carries camera or GPS metadata to begin with, and many editing tools and messaging apps strip it before you ever see the file.
Does this tell me if a photo is fake or edited?
No. It reports the metadata present in the file as-is; it cannot detect manipulation that leaves the metadata untouched.

Privacy
